Thanks for the response. It was a worry at first but I think there is plenty of room there. If I find it's an issue, I'll have a welder raise the fenders, but I don't think it'll be necessary.

Thanks everyone, I think it was a worthwhile upgrade. In just looking at it, I think this is what this trailer was designed for and perhaps someone had gone down to 12s for some reason. It's a 1996 trailer, so nearly 30 years old.

I made the upgrade from 12 inch bias to 13 inch radials. I have not tried it out yet but it fit perfectly and I think it was a good upgrade. Attached are the originals and the new wheels and tires.

Thanks everyone! I have quite a few Railblaza products, including a few rails. My hope is to run an aluminum L along the gunnel and attach the Railblaza channel to the L. I hope to get to this mid this week. I am worried about getting the angle right, but I'm sure I'll figure it out.

I just learned that I might be wrong about the hub thing, given that this hub uses centering lug nuts. From what I am hearing, the hole can be bigger, assuming it's not a hub centered wheel/hub.

Thanks for the response! I decided to go ahead and order a new mounting bracket from TBN to put the motor closer to center. It's $100 but will be worth it to have the motor mounted as it should be instead of off to the side like that.

A couple of questions... I have a boat that the previous owner installed a mounting plate for an old (80s or 90s?) Motor Guide foot control motor. Id like to replace it with a MinnKota Edge foot control. Does anyone here know how wide the mounting holes are on an Edge? I'm hoping I can get it...

It's just an old pond boat so I don't want to get too expensive with it. I counted 32 similar holes around the boat.

Thanks guys! I am looking forward to getting the new boat out on the water and testing it out. The plastic boat is okay for what it is. The big issues are that it's very tippy and has no drainage in the floor. Any water that gets in has to be drained with a pump and a sponge.

I have an older 1960s V-hull aluminum boat. I bought it used to use on a pond. There are lots of drill holes from previously mounting things. I will be repainting soon. Is there anything I can fill these with that looks good vs just silicone?

I have some Railblaza tracks that I had on my plastic boat that I would like to install on my new Alweld. I have lots of accessories already for it. I was thinking of adding aluminum angle along the edge and then mounting the tracks to that, but I'm not sure how that would work. Any ideas?
