Who's having a white Christmas?

Who's having a white Christmas and where are you at?
I'm in North Carolina, north of Asheville, up in the hills. Almost in Tennessee, the Appalachian Trail is close, 5 mile.
It has been raining here for about 3-4 days, so....no snow here, I like fresh snow everything is clean looking.

Is it wrong?

I do it with dish washing soap, you know how the pump bottle that mounts on the back of you kitchen sink. I mix about a 1/3 water and the rest soap, most of it rinses off the sponge and down the drain anyway.

Want to add steps or pods to your boat's stern?

Hey Rich
I read the reviews, one person had a 12/36. Had to do a bit of modifying, but they said it worked great. It's cheaper than a new boat.
Thanks

Want to add steps or pods to your boat's stern?

I've got a small tin.....12/36 with a 4-stroke so it stern heavy. I bet this would help, kinda pricey for my cheap boat. But it would probably make it a lot more stable.

Something caught my eye and I want it!

That's cool, I've been looking at building one out of brick. You don't even mortar it, it is dry stacked. Only bad thing is you have to build a fire in it way before you want to cook a pizza. I think the prophane might better way to go, LOL

Howdy from MS Gulf Coast

Welcome
Cool thing about getting a boat , new or old is making yours. Change this, paint that, add this and that.
It's really the fun part, besides going out in it.

Had sleeper sofa, kitchen was part of living room. She did rav about the food there, all the little vendors. She said it wasn't too expensive et...

Happy Thanksgiving!

I love Thanksgiving. Its has always been a time for me when everybody gets together. It wasn't just family, it seemed like everyone from our little community, well actually our hollow, as it was called. People you see all the time, some you didn't, but all got treated like you hadn't seen them in ag...

I've turned in a few craftsman's wrenches....but it a pair of socks! I love it.
It always pays to go the extra nickel for the good stuff.
Going to start looking for the life time warranty

Just a thought.... If the handle on the front is bolted or screwed on you could just remove it. Looks like most transom mount motors would fit then. i once read an article about turning the handle 180 degrees even if it had rivets by drilling them out, turning it, then replacing with stainless stee...

Rivets leaking

I had about dozen or so leaking rivets and a whole bunch of loose rivets above the water line. It let the boat flex, and twist. You may not want to try this at home.... I made myself a rebunking tool with the help of YouTube, and re-did them all. Scrubbed down the bottom with degreaser and a scratch...
