My Basket Case ( 12' V Hull Restoration/ Conversion)

I figured it was sealed due to it leaking. Mine had a cut about 4 inches long about 6 inches up from where the bow nose gaurd meets the keel runner on the bottom and i used some JB Stik on it which took care of the leak. I did also remove the old caulk from the inside and resealed it with 5200. I pl...

I was going to be doing a small 4ft deck at the front and a small deck at the rear and remove the middle bench. But after having it on the water 3 times now I have decided to deck the first 5ft up front with a slot under neath to place my fuel tank. i have my grandfathers 1955 Rude Fleetwin 7.5 up a...

Water tested the boat for the first time last Tuesday. A minor leak at the drain plug plate on the bottom of the boat. No big deal. After an hour on the water it only had about 2 cups of water in the back. That was also the first real test for My grandpas little 1955 Evinrude 7.5hp Fleetwin Aquasoni...

My Basket Case ( 12' V Hull Restoration/ Conversion)

On the bottom. Right where the bow nose guard meets the bottom of the boat there is a raided rail there that runs from front to back and on mine i also have one on each side of the center one. In one of you pics it looks like you sealed it up. But if you had a leak that would explain why you sealed ...

I am also in the Orlando area. I have a boat just like that. I have a question tho. Does the point where the bow V -guard or plate meets the center keel have to be sealed where they meet or did you do that to try and keep water out of there because of other leaks? The one i have is not sealed there ...

Some pictures of the boat up on the trailer with my self made bunks and brackets. I built it so that the bottom of the boat is 8" off the top of the trailer frame because the trailer is long so I can back it in further but also so that there is less of a risk of the v bow hitting the trailer frame a...

12 Foot MirroCraft modification/to bass boat

I am working on a 12ft just like this but i am planning on just a front casting deck and decking from the rear bench back, with the floor covered just for a flat surface. my only concern is the added weight. i have a 1955 Evinrude Fleetwin 7.5 hp to push it along. did the 8hp do ok with that much ex...
