We Lost Another of the Great Ones, RIP Merle Haggard

Talk about anything that floats your boat (no pun intended). This is general talk about anything not related to boating/fishing.

Sad day for country music. Tried to post a video but can't seem to get it to show up right for some reason.

Me Mom-N-Law tells a story of her serving Merle Haggard his first beer ever in Montana back when Merle was a young and "new" singer in the 60's. MIL was a bar tender in a bar outside Missoula, served lots of the early country stars, before they where actual stars. She has pictures of her with Merle and several other singers.
