Im on Galveston Bay. I have not seen a lot of conversation about the 20' bayboats here. Are the hull designs a lot different then the normal 2072? I can not tell but it looks like some of the bayboats are same Hull with different lay out and color.
Any experience?
 
I see a ton more glass bay boats in Galveston but I think for some it depends how shallow you want to run. Waves and wind in the bay are so different so I think the comfort factor with glass is a deciding factor.

I know the "believed" fact about tin boats are they are to loud. Lots of other facts about tin boats in the general fishing area.

I wonder if the average 2072 is the same or similar hull as the Tinny Bayboats.

I have an odd idea of how I want a boat set up. I often do not want all of the standard parts on most Bay Boats.
