zaneroni Member Joined Sep 25, 2009 Messages 21 Reaction score 0 May 15, 2011 #3 Hi The higher you go with the deck, the less stable it will be IMHO. I had a 12 foot 52" beam and I decked it as close to the bottom as possible, the board was pretty much resting on the ribs. Good luck
