1456 Landau

Post by Jonboat Jerry »

Well here we go again. This is my "Yard Find", a 5 year old Landau on a trailer for $600....just couldn't pass it up. Came with a set of oars, so it looks like I'll get some exercise with this one. Yep, I'm keeping the 'Zilla for a while yet. :)

It looks like the vegetation was preserving it. Great find for sure.

My next build "1552" tunnel" I think I'm going to have a micro center console and stick steer. I think the stick steer is so freaking cool.........................

Jerry tells us about the mods you have planned.

SmackDaddy it was well covered with vegetation, along side a fence, and behind a home which protected it a lot.
I almost didn't see it. The PO turned it upside down and that saved the galv trailer.
I'm trolling CL for a 15Hp motor.
Dave, Badger, with a capacity limit of 600lbs, the mods will be few and light! I'll have to be careful with this one.
Thanks for looking. Jerry :)

I really liked my 1442, if it had been a 1456 and a mod V I would have kept it. That's going to make an excellent skinny water stalker. Lots of pics brother.

Yup, some time ago I purchased two handguns to evaluate for concealed carry, thinking that I would
keep one and sell the other. I had been trying to sell the S&W M&P 45ACP NIB since May. No one was interested.
Then I saw this adv on Craigs List for this motor, and the owner was looking for a 45. and some cash.
Well how fortuitous is that? What is the probability of finding another deal like this?
My 45 and $400 later ($1000), I had a motor, and it was mostly garage kept.
Considering everything, I was very lucky. Jerry :D
