Would an older bass tracker 17 foot make a good all electric boat? I like the set up (deck and the storage) but I worry about the weight of the boat and batteries to push it around the lake. I only fish Reservoirs

Thanks for the input

Hell I run a tracker grizzly 1648 which is close in size . 105lb thrust in the back and an 80 in the front. Heavy? Yep but it fishes fine. 1/2 speed about 2.6 mph full speed 4.5 mph. It won’t set the world on fire but I can run 14 hours at 1/2 speed and still not take more than 1/2 of the batteries which is what your looking for.
Weight wise probably close to 1400lbs boat, motors,8 batteries and gear.

Wally, I would be happy with the all electric capacity you have on your Tracker Grizzly. Pretty impressive.

I have a 55 lb thrust TM I use about 99% of the time as an autopilot to keep me trolling in a straight line. I've never run the battery down, but then I run it at about 25% and never for 14 hours.
