I am doing some easy baby back ribs in the oven today. Basically this is a 2-1 method with a 425 degree kick start. 1 rack I removed the membrane, 2nd rack I left it on. Prepared them as I normally do and in the 425 degree oven they went uncovered for 30 minutes. After the 30 minutes I turned the oven down to 225 and wrapped the racks in foil for 2 hours. This is where we are now.

The ingredients!

After the 2 hours I will uncover them, sauce them up and leave them in the hour for one hour, reapplying sauce 1-2 times more. Stay tuned for pictures If I remember. :LOL2:

At the 2 hour mark! Sauced and back in the oven for 30 minutes, then I will re-sauce and leave them for another 30. All this uncovered.

The finished product! They were not fall off the bone ribs, but they easily ripped off with every bite, Very little stuck to the bones.

Nothing left but bones now. Now it's nap time.

What is the white tub ingredient, 3rd from the left?

I picked up some at the grocery this morning and want to try them today!

Oh, and what could you have done differently to make them "fall off the bones" tender?

Thanks!

Mike
