My lovley girlfriend ordered me a new prop for the ol' suzuki yesterday! should get here about friday! now hopefull this one dodges rocks better than my last one! and on another note,, i got tomorrow off and am spending the majority of it fishing for rainbow!!

ps,,,,,,is there anything special i should know about replacing my prop?? any do's and don'ts?

1) use the proper tools.
2) don't bend too much¿ the stainless steel "star" ends in the hub that locks the nut from loosening. the less you bend, the stronger will keep. dont break any of the tabs.. that is the most important thing.
4) Tigthen the nut strong but moderately strong.
5) ???
6) profit!

i put my new prop on today!! and changed the oil in my lower unit!!! i went fishing yesterday, caught twelve rainbow! great day! going out tomorrow to catch more and test out the new prop!

I always put some marine grease in splines before I slip it in .I do it yearly it keeps them from growing on ...cva34
