I am beginning to prep the hull of my 1969 Polar Kraft flat bottom. There are to as of scratches, scrapes, pimples, and dimples. I am going to try WaterWeld on some serious dings and those that may be actual tiny holes going all the way through to inside. I decided to use WaterWeld because the specs indicate that, once it is cured, it can be sanded, drilled, etc. Anyone have experience with WaterWeld in this sort of application?

I have used the JB waterweld on a couple of boats I own. I have never had a problem with it leaking. I applied it to the inside and outside of the repair areas.

Now have Marine-Tex, 3M 5200, and Gluvit. Need to get SS bolts and nuts, primer, and paint. Hoping weather will get better soon.
