Looks like it is sitting on the bottom right now. A "swamp" waiting to happen although it is probably well pumped and plenty of flotation built in to prevent that plus it looks like the water would roll off most of it.
Must be one of those "flats boats" I assume so they definitely need 300 hp on it.

Of course it does..............................................

My speed skiff starts to come out of the water around 60 mph and at 70-75 mph it's a handfull, but at least you are sitting in the cockpit (usually, the co-pilot really tends to float in the air due to the constant bouncing off the seat). I can't imagine that thing skimming across the water at full throttle while standing up! Pretty cool looking boat though.

Looks like I would bust my butt trying to fish off those decks. They look kinda slick

I can’t imagine doing 70 + in that thing but it must be pretty freaking cool,

I’ve made a couple of 50 MPH runs in my skiff and that’s as fast as I want to go in it, she gets a little squirrely at 50 plus…………………………………………. :LOL2:
They put “Seadek” on it, looks pretty cool ether way. I really like the lift up front rod storage.

I've been helping a friend get an old 70's era glass boat seaworthy again. It has similar hull lines to this one and he's been wondering what to do about that front deck area and the fact that it's going to be slippery when wet. I'll have to tell him about this Seadek product. I don't have any pics of this project, but I'll try to swing by and take some of it.

Here is the boat as it sits today. Still needs the seats installed, steering and reverse cables connected, installing the bilge pumps and a few other misc things.

That what I'm talking about, very sexy.........................

I was gonna fire it up and do a short video where you could hear it run, but the key had been removed from the ign switch and he wasn't there when I went by. It's a Chevy 454 with pistons, a small roller cam, some head work, MSD ign, twin 680 Hollys on top of an Edelbrock tunnel ram, and headers. I figure he or his son is gonna sink it the first week or two back on the water. LoL

Now that's what I call a "teenie-weeine-little-thingy" boat. Just a smidgen of over compensation me thinks. Let me guess, you tow it to the ramp usiung a big ol' jacked pickup with mud boggin' tires and truck nutz. LOL....

That is one of those sites that won't let you view their posted pics unless you are a member of the site.

You got to love the haters......................... :LOL2:

I just read through the guys thread, thanks for posting it. Very cool boat and nice workmanship. It very much seems that some are compelled to step out and try new things, exciting things, adventures things and some are compelled to wine, complain and criticize those who do.

I'm am so thankful I'm not the latter. Once you compromise yourself to the point criticizing other for doing or building something you're obviously silently envious of you now become nothing more than a candidate for mediocrity..................... [-X
