when I'm finished painting I want to put some kind of silicone cocking in this crease where the gunwales meet the side walls of the boat. I'm just super OCD lol. I kind of messed up the gunwales and I created some compromised paint stuck in between that gap. Apparently the aluminum cleaner cleans paint too lol.. I shouldn't have painted the gunwale until after I cleaned the outside aluminum.

What can I use to put in that gap and clean it up? Also it will prevent any paint chipping where I couldn't do a good job in that gap.

I feel like I'm having hard time explaining my question but I think you'll get what I mean.

Thx

A product called LifeCaulk by BoatLife is highly recommended here on TB.net by folks who know a lot more than me. You may want to search it here in the Boat House or Mod's section.
