About to pull the trigger on a 1860 cc grizlly sportsman. My question since im new to boating is can I pull a tube around and throw some kids off with a 90hp motor? Kids are in highschool so for it to be exciting im hoping it can toss em. Buying it purely to fish and bow fish but I know the kids would love it if they could tube as well.

Sure thing, and with that horsepower you may not even need to change out the prop!

But find out what the maximum RPM for that motor is & make sure you are turning close to it as possible already. I like no more than 100 off.

My top 2 boating Pet Peeve’s are (1) OB engines mounted too deep (I want to see the vent plate above the prop, just at or splashing at the surface) & OBs (2) wearing the wrong props, as in too steep a pitch.

I pulled two kids on a double-wide tube on my Tracker with a 70hp and two other people in the boat. You'll have no problem.

Good luck.
