Is it big enough?

I have a 12 ft lonestar semi V hull that I'm fixing up and decking. I have a 1950 wizard 6hp outboard. Think this is enough to push a 12ft boat with decks and 2 adults? Doesn't need to be a speed boat.

Lol but do you think it will push it? The prop is kind of small... Will a bigger prop give more propulsion? 6

Right off the bat you do not have an easily available propeller selection for that 65 year old engine.
Secondly, your decision to deck a small 12' hull, you may find, may not be your best decision after it is all said and done.
You have very little hull surface to support the addidional load of the decking job plus the normal load of fuel, safety gear and passengers.
That engine will do well to just keep the boat at displacement speed (non-planing speed).
Hopefully you have at least treated the engine to a full tune up and new water pump parts as the engine will be at or near WOT most of the time.
That engine will need to be run on a minimum of 20-24/1 fuel/oil ratio as well. Nothing less. It is a plain bearing engine.

Pappy knows his stuff. Especially old outboards. That Wizard is a nice start to a small collection, and will push you around.....just not as fast as you may want. In the second picture, the leg appears to be bent. Is that just the angle of the camera?

I regularly run a 1955 5.5hp Johnson on My 16' jon boat.
And sometimes for kicks, I'll run one of my 3hp Johnsons.
Their not speedy but when the lake has a 10mph speed limit
there's no need for more power.

Thanks guys. No the leg is not bent, just a bad camera shot. And let me reclarify when I say decking. I'm NOT putting a deck level with the gunnels or anything. I'm dropping in a floor, putting a small deck in the rear, at seat level to cover the gas tank and all others. And a small seat level one up front for dry storage along with battery's. That way I can keep two battery's for weight of front. One will power lights and pumps while the other is for a trolling motor shouldbi see fit to use one.
