Suzuki 15 hp Trim *HELP*

Hi Everyone,

I recently got this new 15 HP Suzuki - I spent the last few days mounting it centre and making sure I have clearance with my gas compartment. I’m having troubles with something that might just scream ROOKIE mistake.

I can’t get the motor to trim/adjust back down after lifting it all the way up. My concern is i fish shallow (2-3 for) sometimes and want to be able to adjust on the go. Is there something I’m missing ? Or do I have to reach around and release the pin manually every single time?

My previous was a newer Mercury - it has the easy trim system using the throttle arm.

Did it come with a manual?

I just re read it for the 1000th time and I made an error ... when lowering it the release needs to be LOCKED not unlocked.

Ugh. My bad
