After seeing the one new thread. I thought of something on my outboard. I have a 1976 Evinrude 9.9 HP, it has no kill switch as newer ones have in case something happens while under power to shut it down. I guess I'm talking about a "Man Overboard" switch. Is there an easy way to install something that will not look like crap and function as a wrist strap kill switch? It would suck to watch your boat motor off while your in the water.

I got my cut off switch at boaters world and you would wire the normally open contacts to the positive side of the coils so they would short together when the lanyard is pulled. I am in the process of doing mine but I ran into the problem. So it will be delayed for little while. Fowlmood posted a link that shows how to do it on my thread "kill switch or not to kill switch". Hope that helps.
