I got my new trolling motor mounted today, now I just got to figure out how to wire this thing up! I have an SAE connector under the bow of my boat that runs to the battery area in the back. What's my best bet for connecting the SAE connector to the ring connector coming out of my trolling motor? Should I just cut the rings off and attach an SAE to the trolling motor wires instead?20200706_200413.jpg

For low current applications SAE are great connectors, but the HEAVY duty ones are a PITA to securely solder. An option as mentioned above might be an Anderson to SAE adapter to keep from having to remove what's already in place.
