Thinking about putting a spoon on my inboard jet Jon hull. Was wondering if someone could point me in the right direction for proper design? And also, I have a uhmw bottom, what material would yall suggest I make it out of that would adhere to the uhmw? I was thinking of trying to mold a piece of the uhmw and attach it to the bottom but not sure how I would attach it. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated!

I would form the UHMWPE and then mechanically attach it to the hull. That way you can fine tune the design until it works best for your hull.

Per design, dangle a soup spoon from the handle so the back touches the stream of water from your sink faucet and notice how the water will follow the back curve. That's what you want your spoon to do, help bend the water flow so it injects directly into the pump opening. There are some decent pics of mine on my build thread. It works pretty well.
