Jon boat or just a bass club? I have looked for a tin boat club and really came up with nothing. I have kicked the idea of starting one around but never really made it anywhere with it.

Dont' care I know there is a local trail but I don't have the money or boat rightnow to try to get into any of the local trails around here. I noticed though that crappie would be the only good target for the smaller lakes as the bass are catch and release in most smaller lakes.

Just wanted to put it out there that we might be able to fish tourneys at the smaller lakes with a reduced number of boats....since they have tourneys at stonewall jackson and it a catch and release.....

If you read this and are in WV anywhere please leave a post just letting others know where your located in our state.

THANKS
JON

I'm in Huntington wv. A member of mountaineer bassmasters out of barboursville. Our dues are 75 per year. That include tourny entry for each one. 5$ big bass though is optional just announce before the tourny that u don't want in on it. Our stonewall tourny was paper fish. Meaning a buddy catches I measure and we have a guide for paper fish that has been used for years. We always take care of our nonboaters too. Say if I'm taking my one guest per year but we don't have enough boaters, I woud have to take a member who needs a ride 1st. The club has great guys in it too. We fish mud river also. Hence the reason I have a jon and a fiberglass boat. Jon I know I sent u email on it. If u want to sit in on next months meeting let me know. We are BASS federation sanctioned and your dues also covers insurance.
