Well I finally purchased my new St. Croix. I decided to go with a 6'6" ML Fast action Triumph spinning rod. I will pair it up with an Okuma Stratus 30GT reel and 8lb suffix line. This rod will be used mostly for wading rivers for smallmouth. I liked the lighter action for drifting tubes, senkos, etc. It will also be good for using hardbaits and spinnerbaits I think. Now I need to get out on the river!
