S.E. Massachusetts? Non-profesional tournaments?

Any interest? Im not sure I can really organize, but how hard can it be to have some guys meet on a sunday morning for some friendly fishing competition? Like many on this site, we have a home made jon boat, not a $60K rig. Like minded anglers NEED APPLY. We'll see if we can put something together.

there is already someone who runs tournaments out of the Powderhorn on Hyannis. jon boat style tournaments across the cape.
i am waiting on the schedule and ill post it up when i receive it.
$25 all paid to winning boat

non professional, non-official club, a good group of guys. we do tourneys throughout the state all summer from plymouth to north shore to worcester. sunday mornings once or twice a month. usually 12-15 teams per tourney. canoes, jon boats, and a couple big bass boats.

I'd like to try this again this year. I know that we can have a tourrny w/o a permit on bilington sea (plymouth) and my home lake (monponestt in Halifax). If we get at least 6 boats, we will pick a date.

OR, if you have a tournny coming up soon, we'd love to participate (we have a 17' jon boat with a 75HP [i know there are sometimes limitations]).

I would join with you if the timing works out for me.

I also did stop in and get the Powderhorn schedule last weekend. Although their HP restrictions are 10hp or less. However alot of the places they fish could be trolled around. I do not have any relation to the tourney, just posting the schedule.
