any ky bowfishermen on here? also any one bow fish lakecumberland and any advice for newby

I'm a KY bowfisherman and I live near Elizabethtown. I bowfish Nolin river and small local lakes. Talk to local fishermen to see if they are seeing much carp/gar activity while they're bass fishing. If so, you'll need to get on them quick or they'll change their habits before you get to them. I like using traditional bows for bowfishing.
