Has anyone ever seen a design for a boat mounted set of trailering wheels? I only live three miles worth of backroads from my go to fishing lake launch. I was wondering about ditching my trailer for the short ride and just having a hitch mount of some sort at the bow of my 12' tinny, and wheels/mounting design at the transom that can take a few minor low speed bumps. I always have to be that guy that can't leave well enough alone.

Probably a goose chase, but then i always did like chasing geese.

Thanks in advance for any thoughts.

Found them through another member on here from the Puget Sound. Scroll through their photos, I remember seeing some examples of people towing little skiffs and what not, even though the company were specifically against the idea. Should be just fine for you if you keep it under 80, give or take..

I ordered a set and am still deciding on how to mount them. I'll send pics once I do if you decide you like the idea

They specifically say not to tow with a vehicle, hand pull only.

I'd bet you a good DIY'r could make a suitable set, for low speeds, if they used SS components.

Yeah, I think I pointed that out.. with a slight grammatical error albeit

$10 says that fiberglass boat will be or was DUMPED on public land!
See it all the time.
