Have you seen the motor running? I would want to see it running with the oil injection pump working properly. I bought my 1994 60/45 jet with a bad oil pump so I removed it and I premix all the time. The VRO pump on my old 99 Johnson 40 hp also went bad and I removed it and ran premix on that motor as well.

I got it in the water yesterday. Ran strong. How often do people replace the impeller?

If the engine is new to you then get in there and replace the pump for no other reason that peace of mind and knowing the pump is fresh and ready for service.

I need to replace the Anode but I can not find what I believe to be the correct one
