G model outboard jet

I have a 1981 115 mercury with g pump. I’m planning to rebuild the power head soon. But my neighbor has a merc 175 v6. I’m thinking the props are not any different to how they adapt to the mid section. I know the v6 used the 7 5/8 S pump and the biggest the G pump went was 7 3/8. I know they have 7 3/8 D cut for v6. I’m just wondering if my G model pump would mount up to the v6 models?
