Hello all, So my leaf springs are done, I have a 2006 Long trailer made in NC. The Co went out of business and I cannot find the same spring. After some research I found that they made there own springs custom for their trailers. I have a 16' Grizzly with a 25hp motor, I'm guessing my total weight is around 1000lbs with gear. The trailer has a VGW of 3000lbs. I found a spring that will fit local though it is 1750lb x 2 3500lb springs. Will this be too much spring for my setup?

Thanks Bill

Those springs will probably make the ride pretty rough. You may be able to remove a couple on each side if it's a stack of leaves and see how it rides.

Is it possible to relocate the shackles to accommodate a 2000lb set of springs? Using a different length shackle is also an option if they are close.

Well got my new tires on and removed the bottom leaf and took a test drive, all good.
