Took a chance. Well I was very surprised when I won thought someone else would bidšŸ˜§. It was packed with junk. You can't really even look at it at the auction. Guy that works there said the motor looked clean. I thought for sure I boat a piece. Well I got all the crap out of it took the 14 rod holders off 3 anchor mates tool boxes deer antlers etc etc. Any way started with a comp test both cylinders 140 ok good start. Thought ok let's see if it starts turn the key fired right up. Put a new impeller in it and have went through 12 gallons runs great and it has power trim. Fun little boat not the fastest but fun. Daughter claimed it already. Have more in it then I wanted to but kept me busy for a while. I have been on here for years just never post. Great forum! Oh it doesn't leak!

mathewj? Congratulations! Your story is reminiscent of '60s Urban Legends where somebody found an old warehouse out in some prairie town that was used to store U.S. Army Harley Davidsons which were never used in WWII.

Really nice find.

Have fun. Be safe.
