Yet another move closer to Ahab!!!
Hey all, I have (2) 2 piece BPS Graphite rods one mh and one m. I was thinking of swapping reels around everytime i wanted to fish with a diffrent type of setup, but now im thinking i could save myself some time and just swap the rod tops anyone try this before?
 
If you can find top sections that will marry to the handle section. Problem is the tapers of the two rod blanks need to match. Which means you've got pretty much the same rod.

There is at least one rod out there that I've heard of that came with multiple tip sections. So you could switch from an M power to an ML power for instance.
 
i have a couple rods that i mix and match tips for depending on what im fishing with or for. it works for me.
