You did great finding that boat at that price. Most people where I live post a boat of that size and type in the $2,500 and up range! What's nice about your boat is you have options to do whatever you want and it look OEM from the dealer. Good luck!
This is the best solution for mounting a transducer https://www.sternsaver.com. I have it on my Build for underwater lights and fish finder. There are other and cheaper versions you can google that work great.
