yeah since then no more problems

when i put new carpet and new casting deck in my boat i used outdoor carpet glue for the carpet (can be found at lowes) and for securing the deck to my frame work i used self drill screws a lot of them lol just counter sink the holes a little and put carpet over them all and you'll never know...

yeah ill try that and pull the battery out of the lawn mower so the fish finder will run on that by itself becasue it olly seems to cut out when the trolling motor is turned on for just a second and hook it to that and see what happens

yes it is . . thats what i was thinking ima buy a lawn mower battery to run the fishfinder here soon

yeah mine tryed to peel a little but silicone around all the edges took care of that problem

so got to try it out this weekend the picture is great but i works fine when im running my gas motor but when i use my trolling motor sometimes it gets a false reading for some reason and the depth will start flashing and show like 500 feet sometimes :evil: anyone else have this problem????

fish2keel do u like the aj slick? ive seen a few fly last year at joe nall but havent been able to get my hands on one to fly lol cant bet the aviation models yak 54 like i have mines also powered my a DA 100 on tuned pipes flyes like a fomie. .

should be fine there are a few guys on here that tow there boats with cars im sure they will chime in . . but as long as u stay with in your cars towing limit i wouldnt think it would be a problem. . also will u be on mostly on flat highway or is it hilly?

15 foot ouachita w/ 6 foot wood casting deck . foam foor in the back. just me with all my gear 22mph on gps with 9.9 mercury w/15 hp carb

ive got a ouachita 15 footer its not set up like that one is but i love my ouachita

decided to go ahead and get this fishfinder got it all hooked up today and just tried it in the lake for just a few min tomake sure everything was good gona try it out in the morrning and see how it works
