weldbilt will build whatever you want, ie; a 1048 with a 20" transom, but if you venture away from their stock boats, it will cost you a small fortune 8-[

I haven't been in one myself, but the idea has always appealed to me. it would be nice to pull up the bow mount trolling motor, start the engine and move to another spot, all without hopping in and out of different seats I like this g3 version

if you don't have underneath access, stainless steel toggle bolts will work well. they have great clamping power and you wouldn't need to add 3/4" plywood
