    Sliding seat for boat

Yes, I thought that as well. Heck, you could check out riding lawnmower seat adjusters. I went with the first thing I came across that had the width I was looking for.

    Sliding seat for boat

I really should of taken more pictures when I did it, lol. What I did was purchase and inexpensive, small car seat slider. You know the mechanism that slides your car seat forward and backwards. My buddy suggested a riding lawnmower seat adjuster, but I happen to come across this one for...

    Sliding seat for boat

After fishing out of my rig many, many, many times, especially with my family in the back of the boat. I noticed that we sat slightly unbalanced and it was uncomfortable. I realized I needed to be able to make the rear seat move to be able to balance the boat. But I needed to be on the...

2 Different brands of sonar on 1 battery?

Ya, I doubt they would ever be on at the same time. I would of went with just one at the back but when I do get up front, I find myself turning around constantly.

2 Different brands of sonar on 1 battery?

Yes, thank you. That is what I was wondering. My one unit in the back (14' boat) is a 200 kHz Skimmer transducer and the one for the front (trolling motor) I was considering a dual-beam 200/77 kHz sonar. I have a small 12v 7amp battery I will run them both off of to not get any intereference...

2 Different brands of sonar on 1 battery?

I have a lowrance depth/fish finder as my main unit on my boat. If I want to add a smaller unit to the front, will it have to be a lowrance as to not cause interference or problems if I have them both on one 12v battery? Honestly, only one would be ran at a time, depending on where I am...

    Battery size, durability questions.

Getting ready to overhaul my 14' aluminum semi-v hull boat. I have a foot controlled tm for the front and have a marine batter for it in the front of the boat. Now, I am adding my bow and stern lights and two 8" strings of led lights. I also have to hook up a bilge pump. Lastly, I am...

    ATTACHING TRANSDUCER TO BOAT

OK, I am just paranoid I guess. I bought a depth/fish finder that utilized a suction cup, which was alright, but I did have an instance it came off. Just trying to figure out how to do it without damaging the boat. thx.

    ATTACHING TRANSDUCER TO BOAT

I need to attach my transducer to the hull of my aluminum boat but I am just afraid of drilling into it. Is there a way to do it and make sure it does not leak? Or should I look at one of those temporary deals that clamp on the boat?

If You Had To Choose Between Two Features On Your Sonar.....

Would you choose to have GPS or Down Scan Imaging on the front of your boat. My budget has me looking at a depth finder for the front of the boat with one or the other. I have a pretty simple Hummingbird unit in the back that I use for basic structure etc.. for when I am on the move. I have a...

Mounting a bow mount trolling motor on an aluminum bow

Thanks guys! Now here is the question, plywood on top of the aluminum bow then trolling motor, or plywood underneath the aluminum bow with the trolling motor on the aluminum bow? Or both, bottom and top?

Mounting a bow mount trolling motor on an aluminum bow

I was fortunate enough to find a used bow mount trolling motor for my 14' aluminum v hull. Now the front of my boat does have a aluminum piece at the bow of the boat. Big enough, I believe to mount to. I will probably have to move my light, but I figured I had to replace that anyways. My...

    Ideas on rod storage.

This isn't the best picture but here is one of the boat. I plan on putting a floor in and possibly make a little storage, still in the planning stage. But I really want to keep my rods out of the way and safe. Any suggestions or is the picture just no help what so ever? Thanks alot everyone.

    Ideas on rod storage.

I have a 14' aluminum semi v I am putting together modifications plans for. One thing I am a loss on is rod storage. Anyone have a good method that worked for them for their rods. I usually have several rods on the boat and am not sure what to do to make sure the ones I am not using are out...
