I did not read much on the jb weld stick. I used 3m 5200 myself.

I have a 1448 on my Mod. You may want to look at it. It sounds similar to what you are doing to that one. I have videos of what I did. I am no expert though!

The tech cam out and said it was the bottom gasket as well. Tested everything and ran her. Said the thing sounds awesome and the only problem is it is sitting in the driveway and not on the lake! I am pumped!!

Well I just got finished wiring mine up with advice from here and it went pretty easy once you get started. I am no expert but here is what I did. First buy a fuse holder with a ground bar attached. Academy 29 bucks. Attach your hot wire and neg wire where it shows on the diagram. Then start...

You know I think I am going to play it safe here and have a tech look at it. I got a guy who charges me $30 bucks an hour plus parts and he has been doing it for a long time.

By the way Water came pouring out first. The oily sludge came out last. Not milky though. Just like it was setting on top of the water. I just love when you buy a boat and the guy says it runs great and then you find this crap! Jeez!!
