Don't forget to pick up a vhf radio if your going out in the ocean. If it doesn't float attach it to you. Cell phones won't work if they get wet.next to your pfd itis the most iimportant safety device

we got them in 200' deep 2.5 mi. off shore. the bite was wide open and got them all in 2 hrs.

I fish open ocean in a Gregor 13'. We beach launch on the central ca. Coast and fish anywhere from 100yd. To 3 mi. Off shore

it was glassy but the swells were about 6 ft. at 4 sec. the moving screen was youtube trying to fix the shakey video. dont use that feature

The reds here on the west coast are vermilian rockfish. and the ling cod are the same they catch up in alaska just a bit smaller and can be caught as far south as cabo. we have an increadable fishery here on the central coast as there are no ports between morro bay and montery bay. we beach...

im in central cali. also. we make the trip up there every year and this was the best fishing in 5 years

went to N CA. for some salmon fishing and it was wide open all week. caught around 30 fish and kept enough for dinners and the smoker
