90 HP Etec jet measured "at the prop"

Due to motor restriction on certain places to boat, many are restricted to "Horsepower measurements are the industry standard as measured at the propeller shaft." What would an Etec 90 HP jet measure? Where can I find this information? Thanks !!

My lower unit went out on my 99 Merc two stroke. Mercury wants $1500 dollars for a new one. I only paid $1200 for the whole engine brand new!! What's up?

    Canoe with Jet??

I have a large "cargo canoe." It is 18 feet long and about as wide as a small jon in the middle. An 8 hp motor with a prop will not plane it out. I am in the market for a new motor and was wondering if anyone here has ever heard of running an outboard jet on a canoe?
