I'll agree with everything but the Uhaul part....
uhaul has a HORRIBLE reputation for installing hitches... Do an internet search of camping sites and see what they have to ssay about the subject...
Odds are you have a local trailer company that will do a better job cheaper.
Thank you... This is a bit wider, 42" on the transom, and no flex to it...Maybe different generations of the boat...
I certainly hope the capacity is more than 370...I've had my whole family in there, hate to think I had double the rated capacity in there.

The shallow V we bought came with a 2.5 HP 1947 Sears Elgin....
We replaced it with a 1957 18HP Johnson Sea Horse for a couple of hundred dollars. Nice to know it might be an OK motor to use.
We have a 1970 14' Richland shallow V.
The plate with the capacity is basically unreadable.
Can anyone tell me what the weight capacity of this boat might be? I suspect we're overloading it.

Our ten year old is crazy for fishing and has been dying to get out on the water rather than fish from shore. We saw this boat on craigslist.com and brought it home Friday.
