    97 mirror craft

Oh this'll help. Look at the picture I just sent you of my boat and you can see the aluminum peace between the green paint and the off-white paint. When I'm sitting in an area not moving the water is pretty close to exactly on that piece. Sent from my SM-N900V using Tapatalk

I fish in a 14 foot deep V. You are spot-on about assuming it will be deeper in the water it definitely is. However it's not all that deep. Mine probably sits somewhere around 10 inches under the surface of the water. The motor is probably 5 inches further down. To put it into perspective I have...

pros and cons. cc vs sc vs ss

Also question I'd like to learn more about. I enjoy my tiller but at the same time I think a stick steer would be very efficient in a lot of ways. Sent from my SM-N900V using Tapatalk

85 Grumman 14' Deep V "Grumpy" Ongoing Restoration

That's absolutely incredible. So basically you can sink a boat in the matter of 3 or 4 minutes. Maybe I'll spend that extra hundred bucks to buy the high flow pump instead.... I can just imagine scooting along the lake trying to get back to the dock and there's a huge fire hydrant of water...

Yeah that's some good points I didn't really consider. I'm just going to put a cheap one in there on a switch nothing fancy. I think they're like 25 bucks on eBay if I'm not mistaken. Sent from my SM-N900V using Tapatalk

    PVC flooring question

Well it is cheap maybe it's worth a try. I'm not sure if I would venture into that but at the same time it sometimes takes new ideas to find great ideas. Sent from my SM-N900V using Tapatalk

    PVC flooring question

That stuff gets extremely brittle over time. Bathroom remodels happens to be what I do. I don't want to burst your bubble but honestly I think I'd avoid it. Sent from my SM-N900V using Tapatalk

    floor joists

Several of mine were snapped in half so I grinded them down and welded Aluminum stock that was about half inch wide by quarter inch thick all the way along the top and then grinded the edges off so after it was painted it would look close to factory. I'm not sure if that's the same problem you...

85 Grumman 14' Deep V "Grumpy" Ongoing Restoration

Today I finished a couple of my updates to the boat. I installed two Apex 38ah 12 volt batteries running at 24 volts. They are running my MotorGuide 82 lb thrust digital trolling motor. Yes I just said 82 lbs of trolling motor thrust will be yankin this boat around the lake [emoji48]. I also...

85 Grumman 14' Deep V "Grumpy" Ongoing Restoration

This is my 14 foot deep V Grumman. It gets pushed around the lake with a 1986 25 horsepower Mercury. I purchased it semi restored from the previous owner who was having health problems "$1500". He also had the entire motor rebuilt last year and it runs incredibly well and starts on the first...
