Cutting bilge pump outlet hole in aluminum boat.

Agree with holesaw. Take your time and don't put too much pressure on it so you get a nice clean cut.

    Carpet info

I bought some mid-grade stuff from BPS. Overpriced and the rubber backing was very thin, but it was easy to work with. Next time I will go to Home Depot or Menards.

Nope, the NFL Draft was on this weekend. Besides, I got to see it 100 times on the news. :P

    14' or 16'

Although usually I just fish with my wife or a buddy, but I like having the 16' boat. Of course you guys have never seen my wife casting. Think "Something about Mary" except in the ear. Having her up front is good. =D>

    Yes or No?

Jim, Can-Am I think they are called. I have a couple of friends that bought them and they love em. The design is very stable and they corner so much better than say a trike. And I'll be the first to say the trike's scare the crap out of me. All it took was for one of the back wheels to lift...

    Need quick carpet advice!!

I'm sure it will be fine. The fish don't care. I switch staple sizes when I put the edges of mine down and the bigger one show up so much more. I was complaining to my wife and she told me the fish probably wouldn't care. It is after all...A FISHING BOAT!

    Nice sale on boat seats

I thought I'd pass this link along. I've done business with them and been happy with the products and prices. I don't work for them or get any benefit from this. SPORTSMAN'S GUIDE SPECIALS [[email protected]]

Finally got a boat HECK YEA!!!!!! Pics are up

Illinois has the worst arrangement for boats, trailers and motors. DMV will help you get license for the trailer, but then you have to fill out a form with DNR to get the boat registered. Motors don't need anything. I boat a boat in KC, Kansas and spent two months getting everything legal in...

    12' Fiberglass Tri-hull Columbian Conversion

Very nice job on the conversion. I had an Ozark tri-hull and it was very stable. It was very heavy but was strong in the stumps.

    Non drilled transducer mount

As my brother told me. A boat is a hole in the water that you pour money into. :LOL2: My wife asked me how much we had in my $600 boat and I told her she didn't really want to know.

    switch panel mount

Sorry, ALL my mod pictures are on my wife's camera...which she can't find. The best as I can explain it's just a black plastic box with an aluminum and a plastic front...no seams except on the front. The front panel is recessed and comes with 4 screw. The plastic isn't super heavy like you could...

    Fish finder newbie

Okay, so there are no "dumb" questions right? Well, I've never used a FF before and need a little jump start. I've mounted mine on the transom so that the pointy end is toward the bow. It is below the bottom when it is in the down/locked position. Here are my questions...oh it is a...

    battery or batteries?

I have two, a deep cycle for the TM and a lawn tractor battery for the fish finder, bilge and lights. I just like the idea of having a little bit of backup for either one. I've ran short a couple of times and had to paddle back to the doc or never want to run out of battery for the bilge.
