During winter, tarps are closed. On the G3, during the summer, back is open along with the bow for ventilation.

walls and ceiling is correct. they look like cooler and freezer panels they put in stores.

My boat sits in a barn when not in use, so that helps the plywood to last longer, much longer !! Another thing to do is when I get home...

I always assumed the used oil trick was more about stopping fungal and chomping pests than "waterproofing." The stuff is toxic to pests...

I agree with you on that. Canvas covers are even worse. We live in a very humid area, close to the water, and even my fiberglass boats...

I would say Coosa is the way to go, it's light weight, strong and doesn't rot!

To clarify earlier comments, I agree with this, but people have a real hard time with the up front cost of Coosa compared to exterior...
