Told you I'm dumb....that wouldn't be true what I stated.
Would it be
Lights or FF or whatever....Positive out of them to a switch panel and the negative right directly to the fuse box linked above...positive out of the switch panel directly to the fuse box linked above...from that fuse box to...
Let me see if I can explain this in writing as on phone....
If I were to get one of this bus fuse box things like this: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000THQ0CQ/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o06_s00?tag=viglink23188-20&th=1
In essence I would run things like this:
Lights (+/- wires) connect to...
So our conversion has just sat....for a LONG time for many reasons but I really wanna hit next spring with atleast a fishable conversion.
This specific question is for wiring....I am 100% dumb in electrical wiring. We've used fish finders and TM's but always just wired directly to the...
This or another one for wiring a boat "for dummies" needs to be a sticky. Honestly this is the one thing that is keeping me from truly building my modification on our semi-v...just not confident in the entire wiring set up.
Just curious...where your supports touch the hull of the boat, are you spar coating these pieces? Putting carpet between the supports and the aluminum at all? Curious because you hear so many guys saying the treated wood touching aluminum will cause corrosion over time? I love your layout and...
Was the Pettit you used for the bottom of the exterior rated for bottomside use? All I can find is Black or Blue in underside rated Pettit paint...rest is all topside? That self etching primer, was it Rustoleum as well?
Thanks! Have you had success with the bedliner stuff staying on the exterior of the boat? I know lots of guys talk about drag it creates...but I honestly see it as so minimal that if it sticks well to the primer on the outside I may just do that below the water line to safe cash (and as you sait...
Thanks Atuck! Looking at that it appears the 12 was the one with 3 seats...and the 4 seater was the 14. Ours has only 3 so Seafarer is still top of my "guess" list, although I'm going to get ahold of Starcraft and ask how I can go about being 100% sure.
Nice rig here! Did you do anything to the bottom of the hull exterior or just priming and painting it? Post what you use and how it turns out as I still haven't made my mind up. Definitely going to keep an eye on this build!
My plan is to post pics of absolutely every thing we do, bad or good. Small project right now is getting wheel rims sanded and painted, new tires than we'll have to make the decision on what to do to the outside of the boat...we'll see.
Well the pops and I are going to start tearing into our 1973 Starcraft officially. NO experience at all at this, so you guys better be ready to assist along the way with advice! :D
We aren't 100% on the model being Seafarer but all my searching points us in that direction. I picked it, the...
Okay great link but it stops in the 60's and according to my title it is a 1973...just that though. No model number or anything....I may contact the Starcraft maker in Topeka, IN (less than an hour from me by chance) and inquire about how to find out.
