I ended up breaking the R/N/F nob on my Merc. I tried to order a new one but its made for a motor with a square pin. And mine is round. I ham having a very hard time finding parts for my motor, does anyone know where i can get older parts? I think its a 72' merc 9.8 110

BCbouy : Good Idea but thats to much $$ Hanr3 : Ill try more weight, and I might try lower lbs springs. The PSi is not that low but Ill put it back up. I do care about the bounce because even with tie downs the boat still is all over the place.

I have a u built trailer for a 12' boat. it has leaf springs but i find it is very bouncy. i have lwered the tire psi. it helped a but but not much. What can i do to solve this? thanks dave

why not go Solar. That way you can leave it on while in storage.

What I plan on running it a Humming bird 570DI, a few LED lights and a bilge pump. What battey should i get without adding alot of weight and size. I dont fish that often and I am always neer power to charge it. any help would be great Thanks

How do you have the wires attached ? If they are attached by screw or wingnut maybe some have better conductivity than others. Just a thought, but im no expert

oh yes very fun. and very strong !!! I just picked up a new rod and reel for $50 el cheapo but it will do what I need. (I jam it into the rocks) The 80-100lb braidedline is the costly part.
