Welcome to the site. Googled the boat your getting but didnt see if it had a "T rail" type system on the gunnel or not. If it does theres aftermarket connections or DYI stuff. Like LDubs mentioned, theres probably even rail mlunts that a ram would fit in. I know some people have added a T rail...

Ive never used a transom saver. All the motors Ive had(have), can be towed straight up and down. I figure my bunks support the transom and my boat is strapped to the trailer, so no bouncing. The only thing I do is bungy the motor to the side so it doesnt go back in forth. For me a proper sized...

Vance JPL9620 5 1/2'' Setback "Vance Manual Kick & Jack" Ive also seen people stack a regular kick up(breakway) plate to a jackplate....sits ya back a ways, better have a long tiller handle. Theres other brands of kick up plates , some only have 3/4"s of set back.

You need a boaters safety course (test) to operate a boat in Canada, since 1999 . Its 50 questions pretty basic stuff , $40. Theres courses you can take to help you learn if needed.

Your still in range at 5400rpm, so not an issue. If she is with you most of the time you may want to try the 11 aluminum. Depending on what brand prop they can all be abit different, even same brand props can be different alittle. I use 3 different props(really 2 mostly) depending on load. 30hp...

Like others have mentioned, your speed is good. Getting a cheap induction tach (tiny tach or knock off) is a good investment, tells your hours use, rpm and knowing your rpm is the only way to pick the right prop. Nice looking boat, Id say your in the ballpark for sure, speed is good, planeing...

Looking at your first post, Im thinking you might be a big guy? The riser should be your best bet but without using it hard to say how high. With where its at no big problems will occur, just know it deeper in the water.
