Just finished a two-tone blue and black on mine using Rustoleum Farm and Implement. Took a few days to fully cure, but I am happy with the outcome. I expect that I'll be complete with the whole thing in about a month or two and am looking forward to added a post with all the steps it took to bring a 1965 Rich Line back to life.

Just did mine, just outer topside. Random orbit and hand sand, rattle can self etching primer, Petit ezepoxy sea foam green, roll and tip. Two coats

Well I finished the boat finally and took it out on the lake today. For my first time painting a boat and using a paint sprayer I’m pretty excited and proud of how it turned out.

Congrats The paint job looks crisp, and that satin finish paint looks stealthy. Very nice!

How did you like the spraying process?
How long did it take to dry to the touch in your weather conditions?
How was the first lake trip?

Thank you much appreciated.
It took a couple tries to get the mixture and gun figured out but it sprayed fairly decent. Definitely saved me a lot of time. As for the dry time, I painted inside my pole barn that unfortunately is not temperature controlled so it’s been hot lately with high humidity so roughly 3 days dry to the touch.
Myself and the wife hit the water both Saturday/Sunday and didn’t catch a single thing but enjoyed cruising the water. Not a very big boat but it’s sturdier than I figured.
Thank you all for the appreciation now on to the next project.
