I grew up fishing in aluminum canoes, it’s about all I’ve known. I just picked up a new project and while I’ve been around tin boats and worked on them, this is a sizable project and I want to do it right. I have a 17 1/2’ Aerocraft canoe that I fish weekly, but just picked what the title says is a 13’ StarCraft. It measures 13’ 9” and has 3 seats. Short term goals are to fix the transom and do some fishing, over the winter I’ll fix up the trailer and really clean it up. Long term I may build out decks and such, mini bass boat project. Who knows. The pics are after some initial cleanup I’ll post project specific threads in the proper forums. I look forward to being a part of the community and any insight its members might share along the way.
