what gear ratio is your motor? how are you reading your speed?

Likely whatever stock is... Not really sure - I've done nothing since I got it last summer and I don't think the original owner tinkered with it. As for reading the speed, I used a Garmin GPS.

Top Speed: 28.2 up and down river in calm water with just me. 29 in chop. With another 200-230lbs person, about 26/27mph.
WOT RPM: 6140-6250 depending on motor height and load.

Likely won't break 30 without a prop change or without some more ballast in the rear.
