Bought the 78 Grumman 4.4 Monday. She cleaned up nicely. Retiring September 5. This should keep me busy for a while. Needs to be rewired, upgrade fish finder, floors. Trailer needs rewiring, bearings repacked as well.

Bought a 1978 Grumman 4.4 yesterday and when I retire in 4 weeks I plan on restoring her and spending as much time as possible fishing some of our area lakes. I'm looking forward to seeing the different mods here and getting some ideas for restoring this old gal to her original glory. AT

Just bought this yesterday. 1978 Grumman 4.4 Open, 1977 trailer, 2007 Mercury 9.9 4 stroke. Retiring in 4 weeks. Plan on restoring this boat as best I can. Looking forward to reading and looking at this site to see what others have done. Thanks! AT
