Adding Railblaza tracks on an aluminum Jon with round edges?

Using aluminum angle to get a flat surface doesn't sound bad.

Cut up a piece of 4x4 or build something from 2x4's into a custom carpeted bow stop. Maybe 3D print something. I use a carpeted 2x4.

    Fiberglass patch issue

Have a piece of aluminum formed to fit over the strake and have it welded. If you use any of the listed products to fix it and it doesn't hold up and you decide to get it welded it will be a pain in the *** to get the aluminum cleaned up to weld.

Transom corrosion holes on used Grumman Jon Boat 10'

Looks like someone put pressure treated wood as the transom. Pull the old wood and see how bad the damage is.

What is on the inside of the boat where the patch? Is there any visible damage?

    Transom wood question

BCX plywood will work too. The X means its exterior grade.

    Fiberglass patch issue

While it will work there are better ways to patch aluminum. A flat tire can be fixed by filling it with concrete, but it's not the best way.

    Fiberglass patch issue

Clean off the fiberglass first then you can see what is really wrong. Then you can see what the real problem is and how best to fix it.

    Fiberglass patch issue

Sand it back until you get to where it solidly attached. Or better yet peel it off and fix it right.
