Will a 25hp hood fit a 35? I'd find a way to cover up that 35 on the hood :mrgreen:. Paint the motor different or find a 25hp sticker kit. That thing oughta flat move with a 35. Let us know how many mph.

I love my 1448, I wouldn't own any narrower. I can stand on the top of it and dive in the water or crawl over the side and the boat literally sits there. My uncle talked me into buying a wide boat and i am glad I did now.

a good friend of mine has that same boat with an old 18 horse johnson and it does real good, not sure of the actual speed though.
