    Got out this morning.

I've been seeing a lot of videos online of fish and wildlife officers picking up the pace, maybe you'll be getting more visits soon. I hope not. Glad you got out on the water, nothing like it, good company too.

    Part Wanted Bow Eye

I'd cut the bolt and replace it. Unless that's somehow not possible and I'm missing it.

Where do most people go to sell a used aluminum boat these days?

Sounds like you made your sales pitch here. Good luck on the sale.

    Missing aluminum boat

If there's a good run before the bank, I'd just get a chain on her and tow quick towards the bank. You might be able to have the boat surface before reaching land. If not just tow her slow and steady.

    Traveling with boat in tow

If unsure about the area, add extra chains/locks to the wheels of the trailer. Anything to slow a thief down will help discourage them.

    Prop advise

Why are you telling me this?

    Prop advise

What kind of boat do you have that you use a 4 blade prop? Most engines in that HP range use 3 blade props? Max RPM with light load.

    Pontoon yacht.

I'd rather see a larger diameter pontoon, maybe something 55 gal drum size.

Do I really "need" a casting deck?

If I did a casting deck at all it would be one that was easily removed. Maybe even one you could hinge and fold up.

    Pontoon yacht.

I understand this is a home build, but they rent out Pontoon Houseboats all the time in certain areas. I'll see if I can grab a couple of quick pics and post them. Here's a link to several of them. https://www.boattrader.com/boats/type-power/class-power-house/

    gas or electric?

It sounds like you'll be on the move less 1 mile per outing. Go with an electric if the noise thing is that much an issue. However a small 4 stroke gas engine at idle are very quiet these days. Maybe you should find one and take a listen. I'd go with gas all day every day, it brings many more...

Is this normal amount of water from these ports?

Here's a short clip of how I remember the water coming out of a 70. When the guy revs it up a bit you get a brief clip of water spitting out the twin ports. Not spilling out as in the OP's video.

Is this normal amount of water from these ports?

I remember the model of outboard very well and unless the engine was hot and the thermostat had just opened I stand by my initial statement that the amount of water pumping out seems high, That doesn't mean it's a problem. As long as the engine is operating within normal operating temps I don't...

Is this normal amount of water from these ports?

You seem to know what engine this is, if you do, please tell us. I am assuming it is a Johnson or Evinrude in the 55-70 HP range.

    Mercury outboard discontinued spark plugs

In case this answer hasn't been given yet. Reach out to Mercury and ask them what they would use as a replacement.

    Marine Oil?

If someone here is a marine mechanic, I'd wait for their response, if not ask a service tech.

Is this normal amount of water from these ports?

Seems like a lot of water running through them. That said, as long as the engine temp is running the right temp, you're good.

Boat ramp traffic way down and fewer boats on the water?

I took delivery of the new boat on Friday, made the trek north from Sea Bright NJ to Jersey City. Past a small handful of pleasure boats and a slightly larger number of working bay boats (Clamming). Once into NY harbor there were tons of tourist's boats, full to the brim along with the usual...

    VHF radios

I placed this model on my list of must buys for tonight. That and a dock box, garden hose, air horn as the horn on the boat is an insult and some other miscellaneous items.

    VHF radios

Mainly emergency situations. Nice to monitor chatter to see if the bite is on anywhere or if weather is rolling in.
